Service Description

The Duduk, not only a musical instrument, it is a soul and a sense… "Duduk is a collective symphony that comes from melodic modulation of sentiments.” Aram Khachaturian This instrument is an ancient Armenian double-reed woodwind instrument. It is made of two parts: the reed composed of one or two pieces of cane in a duck-bill type assembly, and the body which is made of apricot wood. In this course, the student will learn how to play the duduk and having some Armenian and at the same time oriental musical backgrounds. Like any other wind instrument, it is necessary to learn how to breathe, i.e. collecting the air in the mouth in order to create the sound, meanwhile using the fingers of duduk. After the technical part, the student will switch to musical pieces with music scores and by mastering the instrument, will lead into improvisation and masterpieces for duduks such as folk dances and professional musical pieces. ”Duduk has got its own inner nature. Cancellation Policy

Booking Cancellation Please be aware of our cancellation policy. When you book your class/session, you are holding space on our calendar that is no longer available to our students. In order to be respectful of our fellow students, please contact us by email at contact@staymusical.com or WhatsApp on +971 50 214 2780, as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment. Our goal for prior booking is to provide quality teaching music that caters to all our clients in a timely manner. If cancellation is necessary, we require that you contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Late Cancellations/No-Shows A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is canceled less than 24 hours before the appointed time. A no-show is when a student misses an appointment without canceling. In either case, we will charge the student the full amount of the missed appointment fee.
